At Greenbanks, we’ve built a distillery capable of taking our own Tasmanian whisky brands to the world. If you have a similar goal, we’d like to invite you to come on board as a contract partner.
From R&D to production to maturation, we can provide you with a complete end-to-end solution.
We can help you bring your new whisky brand to market by offering an outsourced capital-light production model in an otherwise capital-intensive industry.
By partnering with Greenbanks you can launch and meaningfully scale your brand, while being confident in our ability to support your growth ambitions.
Greenbanks Tasmanian Whisky Co. is a new entrant into the Tasmanian whisky industry and a privately-owned Australian company.
Our distillery in Bridgewater, Tasmania – 25 minutes from the centre of Hobart commenced production in late 2023.
While we make whisky for our own brands, as a contract partner we will provide you access not only to Tasmania’s largest capacity whisky distillery, but also our ATO-licenced bonded warehousing to store your maturing whisky.
We can work with you to create your own unique Tasmanian whisky. Our ability to scale supply as your brand grows over time makes us the ideal long term partner.
Tasmania has the potential to be a significant global force in whisky, and we want to help the distilling community take Tasmanian whiskies to the world.
We will work with you to create your own world-leading Tasmanian whiskies, and our ability to supply small to medium requirements all the way through to large-scale contracts makes us an ideal long-term partner.
We are located in Brighton, just 30 minutes northwest of Hobart, providing easy road and rail access to key Tasmanian centres and direct access to mainland shipping routes. Greenbanks Distilling Co. is proudly independent and Australian-owned.
We have processes and procedures in place to produce the highest quality spirit consistently and safely for our customers. We care about the health and wellbeing of our employees and providing a safe work environment.
We are committed to conserving water, our most precious resource, and we will minimise our environmental impact through adoption of industry best practice and innovation.
We are committed to the community in which we operate and will source capital equipment, people and input materials locally wherever it is possible to do so.
We have strong independent business oversight and a governance framework that ensures we operate to high financial and ethical standards.
